Fathomling (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application handles user data.
1. Data Collection & Processing
Fathomling does not require account creation, sign-in, or collection of personally identifiable information (PII) such as your name, email address, or phone number.
A. Local Storage
Your game progress, high scores, selected skin preferences, and sound settings are saved locally on your device using Android’s standard local storage (SharedPreferences). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
B. In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)
If you make an in-app purchase (such as Remove Ads or Glow Skins), transactions are processed directly by Google Play Billing SDK. We do not store or collect your financial or credit card information.
C. Advertisements (Google AdMob)
Fathomling integrates Google AdMob to display optional rewarded video advertisements (e.g. for game revives). AdMob may collect and process device identifiers and diagnostic data for ad delivery, fraud prevention, and analytics.

TAG_FOR_CHILD_DIRECTED_TREATMENT_TRUE), under-age-of-consent tags, max content rating G, and non-personalized advertising postures.

Fathomling relies on third-party SDKs provided by Google:

3. Children’s Privacy
Fathomling is designed for a general audience and family friendly gameplay. We include parental challenges before accessing purchase paths. AdMob ad requests are tagged for child-directed handling and maximum content filtering (G rated).
